About The Artist

Born in 1990 Delyth Thomas spent many a summer playing around the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast line. Her work is often inspired by fantasy and mythology, drawing inspiration from a variety of artists and children's illustrators through the ages.

Delyth attended Glyndwr University in Wrexham getting a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration for Graphic Novels, during which she studied a wide range of mediums and styles along with literature and storytelling.

One of her biggest inspirations is the art of Brian Froud, having watched the films 'Labyrinth' and 'The Dark Crystal' many a time as a child, later discovering his beautiful illustrations and fantastical creatures.

When not creating fantastical creatures of her own Delyth would be working on her fantasy novel series 'Dragon's Tear'.
